Hello Insomnia. Well I had it bad back when school started.
- Basically, we're not tired enough. Back then when manual labor was more common, our bodies were too fatigued to let our minds run free at night. There's not much instances in the past where you hear about staying up too late (well they didn't have light bulbs either, eh). So, if you don't exercise, insomnia might be one problem.
- Noooo FOOD AT ALL. Will not let us sleep at all. Blood rushes to stomach and starts working on digesting.
- Be relieved of stress. Do whatever to remove the stress from your way, then sleep.
- No napping after 4 PM.
- Whack off. at least for males. There’s this hormone released that knocks us out
- Sleep without a shirt/ nude. Anything for more comfort
- Get a night cap, or block out all visible light.
- Silence is of the highest importance
- Reading helps to get your eyes and mind tired, not body.
- Having a better bed helps adjusting to sleep
- Sleeping pills work but work too well, you'll miss waking up at your deadline.
- Have a goal for waking up tomorrow and keep to it; e.g. I have to leave home by 7AM pronto! no excuses!
- NO TV, or computer use before sleep. Just doesn't work, at all.
- TV keeps one up late with late programming.
- To go online is like doing mind puzzles that stimulates everything
- Cooler temperatures help as well as a warm foot bath; SO NO HOT SHOWERS
