Rating QB’s

What's the best way to judge the worth of a QB?

We get into this argument a lot, and we never come to a good conclusion.

It seems to me that QB's can be be overall graded on the following.

1. Stats
2. Wins
3. Super Bowls

So, how can we grade QB's? Let's make this one count!

===
completion percentage
mobility in the pocket
decision making
===
Dun ESPN tell me.

Predicting what will happen
Reading the blitz
Knowing when to get rid of the ball
Footwork
"Shaking" off safety's with pump fakes, blind throws -- not staring down recievers
Accuracy - fucking JOMOCUS RUZZEL
===
What's that stat where

you DON'T STARE DOWN RECIEVERS
===
>What's wrong with Passer rating?

Passer rating is supposed to be the
"be all, end all" stat for quarterbacking. But even with such a stat, it all depends on the team.

Notice how Marc Bulger's ratings drop dramatically once his team turns to shit, even though 4 seasons of 90+ passer rating.

There's better "raw" observable talent, that's not measurable. There's no "avoiding the sack" or "completion percentage" independent stat, since that depends on the team, (the O-line and receivers)

(continued)

it doesn't take into account things like YPA or dropped passes, and it is an algorithm that can't account for the intangibles, like lucky TD's/Ints, poorly ran routes, or the sheer amount of influence they had over the game (if someone throws 3 passes all game and they are all completed, HOLY SHIT AWESOME QB)

===
I'd say interceptions are pretty important. It hurts the team obviously. It's almost nearly preventable. I mean, you have to know where to pass the ball. If it's double-covered, a horribly inaccurate, or if the QB fails to foresee a pick, then it's the QB's fault.

Interceptions aren't nearly as depend on the receivers as completion percentage or yards gained per play.
===
1. Pass Completion (Accuracy)
2. Deciding which receiver is the best to throw it to.
