Phillies Dodgers

From last night.
Phillies are a better hitting team and they're more clutch. They won't win give up even if they are behind 4 runs. And they hit better when they face the batter more than once.
Phillies have that beast of a Cliff Lee, so if we don't pick up those two games at home, then we're out of it.
Luckily they've got Brad Lidge. From ESPN at least, if he's behind on the count, then his ERA shoots up to a 9 or something.

Yankees are better on paper in every single way against the Angels. The Angels have got some pop, but they're a fizzle against the Yankees. Everyone on the Yanks can make the All-stars, or at least hit as well as them. And with their jetstream stadium, fly-out pitchers are ineffective and the someone's gonna pop HR's the whole night.
Did I mention that the Angel's bullpen sucks too?

I honestly believe the Phillies if they win, can match up against the Yankees. As long as they've got Cliff they can win 2 games, 70%. The Yanks have a thin pitching staff, but it's full of quality (forgetting Joba).
I'm still rooting for one LA team to make it to the World Series. But more importantly I'm wishing that NY goes back home early.
