What the NBA needs?
1. Player's union needs to chill the fuck down, and allow for more breathable contracts
2. The league to be given a anti-trust exemption, so draft picks can't back down for a year if they get picked by a shitty team (Ricky Rubio)
3. Again, with an anti-trust exemption, teams can finally kick start a minor league. The current situation has no incentive for teams to develop their d-league players, since they can drift as a free agent from team to team.
4. First round of playoffs needs to be 5 games. If baseball goes 5 games for their division series, then FOR FUCKS SAKE, basketball needs a 5 GAME SERIES. Let some fucking upsets happen.
5. Players should not foul out of the game. TAKE THE REFS POWER AWAY. No more foul trouble. No more players playing cautiously when they have 3 fouls before the half.
6. Get rid of the divisions and conferences. Seeding goes by wins, and only wins.
7. Thoroughly define and simplify the traveling dribbling violation.
