Tastes: Sweet, salty, umami, spicy.

Beware, it's a mess to eat, and it will smell.
Just realized American food is all about texture.
Cheese is not for taste but texture. French fries have that crisp.
Beef has a chewy texture. American cereal is all about crisp & sugar.
Fresh fruit & salads over boiled/steamed vegetables. Anything Fried is for texture.
Yogurt is not popular at regular temp, but frozen.
