Interracial Dating

My perceptions at least (dating Westernized females, not necessarily white):

  1. Outward appearance. Namely, posture, breath, skin quality, eyeglasses, etc.
  2. Clean hair cut. More Mad Men than K pop.
  3. Confidence, a step above humility which is taught to us, but not a step further in bragging. The outlook of life can be bit challenging depending on many factors (socio-economic), but it's near key requirement to be successful with others.
  4. Ability to hold a conversation. Know how to listen, relate, story-tell, entertain. Having non accented, fluent English helps break stereotypes and will catch someone's eye.
  5. Avoiding the discussion of woes or personal downfalls. Successful conversations tend to geared for more optimism, something that evokes smiles rather than sympathy. Stoic is not desired either. Someone dynamic, fresh, fortunate.
  6. Not make filial piety so obvious, and on that matter, making sure Christian background - compatibility is apparent.
  7. Knowing how look comfortable in public. -- Can hold eye contact without being nervous.
  8. Hold back on moralizing others. Something having Confucianism in a world that's remarkably different/less restrictive makes us preachy. Almost no one appreciates such speeches.
  9. Wildcard, which ranks either from 5-8, depending on female: knowing how to have fun, employment, car.
  10. --- Even after this, our chances are still diminished, because so much depends if the female is seeking an interracial relationship; or if they had little luck with prior relationships. White females, and to an extent E. Asian females occupy on a high desirability within our society, such that they will already have a list of men to pick from. In many ways they have to 'settle' for the Asian guy, unless the guy is in every way bit remarkable in talent, personality, and virtue. The quickest test of this is how many (not necessarily female) seek you. This cuts into our confidence, but again gotta keep our heads up.
