Chem 131 is hardest course I've taken for a Chem major, in terms of content, rigor, math ability, required homework, exams, and grading. Second up would be Phy 2Cl back when they used to go over 8 experiments. Electrical Engineers and your circuits, I salute you! The hardest Chem Lab I've had so far is 143B, but that's most likely due to my lack of experience in the O-Chem Lab.

Physical description -> theory is my preferred way of learning. I believe learning the concepts of differential equations, spherical coordinates, linear algebra are best introduced through physical science courses. That usually sparks an interest in me to learn more about it in math, yet this rarely occurs the other way around.

There's not enough hours in the day to learn everything you need to know the content through and through. Luckily, the stuff you needed to have learned is required the second time around, and professors will cover it in more depth this time.
