Asian American Problems

It's not a cohesive community, but one that is divided categorically by race, religion or wave of immigration and fragments further on
The seemingly accepted representation of the entire community as upper middle class located in a suburb/gated community, as if working class Asian Americans do not exist
The exclusionary behavior that develops when communities form; e.g., stereotypes perpetuated about hispanics and blacks, even when we ourselves, exist as a minority.
The belief held by some, that race does not matter; as if the cultural upbringing does not matter.
The lackluster presence in literature. It's a story worth telling, that no one wants to write.
The acceptance of the fetish for East Asian women. As something as intimate as love, judge as as individuals, please (I am not an female FYI).
The lack of resources which could help us learn our native language/dialect/culture/religion.
The rather recent trend in poor English speech in EAsian American communities. I get noticed for having a plain non-accented English. This shouldn't happen.

I am an Asian-American, and I ask myself, whether there will be an Asian America community once our parents pass away.
