Haven't culled the list in a little while so some links may be dead. Another good resource is reddit.com/r/opendirectories–it's a subreddit devoted to finding and posting open ftp shares. And of course #bookz on Undernet is the End God of pirated ebooks. There's also aaaarg.org, which is a fantastic site, but it's invitation/application only.
