UCSD regrets

No. Life here without a car is awful, and I enjoyed my community college far better. There was so much I missed from Pasadena City College.

• Instead of Goodies, there's a 99 cents store right next to campus.
• Instead of Cafe Roma, there's a starbucks next door.
• Instead of Price Center, there's Banh Mi Che Cali, Yoshinoya, 2 Asian tea coffee places (AU79, Tea Spots), 1 Persian restaurant, 1 Armenian restaurant
• Instead of going to Convoy for Asian food, there's Valley Blvd
• Instead of Burger King, there's Tops Burgers.
• Instead of paying $8-9 for food, I can get twice as much for $6-7
• Instead of paying $$$ for parking, it's $60 for one semester.

I have still not learned the utility of the quarter system. My peers say concepts are introduced so fast, it goes in and it goes out. Maybe the quarter system is great for the humanities but for STEM courses, it's just a drag.
