Defeating Terrorism

An original thought from watching a clip of the Mumbai terrorist attacks in 2008. Terrorism’s goal is to terrorize us. To make us afraid and panic and press our leaders to collapse to their demands. But here in America we’re completely unbeknownst to the attacks. Why? Because of apathy. If we grow apathetic to the deaths incurred during terrorist attacks and stop caring just point blank about attacks that do not effect our direct community, then we are not afraid.

As long of government solves the threat of the rebel groups, and we’re apathetic then we’re fine. I guess that means the Bush Admin did the right thing. Hm. Food for thought.
