Lectures cover the bare minimum of what is covered on the test. Bare minimum. Most of the work is done from reading textbooks, and then working on problems/taking notes.
Finally figured out what political science is vs other forms of social science.
History lists influential events and attempts to link them together to get a generalized concept of a movement.
Government requires students to learn the primitive functions and actions of government.
Political science attempts to explain phenomena that occur in political structures. It is related to sociology.
Economics deals with the distribution of goods and services.
My thoughts however, is economics and it's relation to game-theory are "pure" forms of social sciences. Political science seems to wrap itself around economic / game-theory jargon. It is not a source of new information, but rather an interpretation of events given already prescribed methods.
But blahblahblah, there needs to be political infrastructure to have a open, market based economy, blahblahbalh, there needs to be political culture and etc. blah. Okay, there's a point. But whatever, more people are concerned with economics than political science.
2010-2011 NBA All Underrated team
PG- Chris Paul and I'm not even joking.
SG- Eric Gordon
SF- Luol Deng
PF- LaMarcus Aldridge
C-- Nene
Then
Elton Brand
Kevin Martin
But basically guys on the West Coast whom the East Coast never bothers to stay up and watch.
2010-2011 NBA Players I'm tired of hearing about
PG-Derrick Rose
SG-Kobe Bryant
SF-LeBron James
PF-Kevin Love
C--Dwight Howard
Those 5 guys take ups over half the NBA coverage on ESPN / SI / CBS Sports / Fox Sports.
